The Guadalupe Clinic
was established in Wichita, Kansas in 1985. It's first location
was located at 940 S. St. Francis, and then expanded to a second
location at 1406 N. Erie. Both sites are located in the heart
of Wichita's lowest income areas and with the city's highest
number of uninsured citizens.

The Guadalupe Clinic is sponsored
by the Catholic Diocese of Wichita to serve people without regard
to race, religion or creed. They provide health services for
the uninsured, working poor, and those who are ineligible for
medical
cards or Medicare.
Most services are provided by volunteer physicians.
Guadalupe Clinic works closely with the Wichita health care
system to assure services are available and affordable to the
patients
they serve. The clinic is able to offer its patients diagnositc
testing, x-rays, mammograms, as well as specialized medical
care at no cost through a newwork of facilities. |
